Cancellation Policy
1. Conditions Applicable to Direct Bookings
This policy applies to bookings made directly with Medano4you through our website, by email, by telephone or through a payment link provided by our team.
Bookings made through external platforms are subject to the cancellation conditions established by the relevant platform.
2. Advance Payment Required to Confirm a Booking
To confirm a direct booking, an advance payment equal to 30% of the total stay is required, unless a different condition is expressly stated in the offer or booking confirmation.
The booking will not be considered confirmed until Medano4you has successfully received this payment.
3. Cancellation by the Guest
If the guest cancels the booking, the 30% advance payment is non-refundable.
Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing through the email address used to manage the booking or by contacting customerservice@medano4you.com.
The date on which the written request is received will be used to determine the applicable conditions.
4. Change of Dates
The guest may request one change of dates, provided the request is made at least 30 days before the original arrival date.
The change is subject to availability in the same accommodation or, where possible, in another property managed by Medano4you.
The new stay will be subject to the rates applicable to the new dates. If the price is higher, the guest must pay the difference.
If the price for the new dates is lower, the difference will not necessarily be refunded.
Once the change has been accepted and applied, no further changes may be requested using the same advance payment.
5. Bookings Made Less Than 30 Days Before Arrival
Bookings made fewer than 30 days before arrival cannot be modified under the date-change option described above.
If such a booking is cancelled, the advance payment cannot be transferred to another booking or reused for future dates.
6. Outstanding Balance
The remaining balance must be paid within the deadline stated in the booking confirmation.
If the guest does not pay the outstanding amount within the required period and no written agreement has been reached with Medano4you, the booking may be treated as cancelled due to non-payment.
In that event, the advance payment already made will not be refunded.
7. No-show, Late Arrival and Early Departure
No refund will be issued in the event of a no-show, arrival after the reserved starting date or early departure.
The guest’s decision not to use all or part of the accommodation does not change the confirmed booking price.
8. Cancellation Due to Personal Circumstances
Transport problems, flight cancellations, illness, work commitments, loss of documentation, weather conditions or other personal circumstances do not automatically entitle the guest to a refund.
We recommend purchasing travel insurance covering cancellation, trip interruption and other unforeseen events.
9. Modification or Cancellation by Medano4you
If Medano4you is unable to provide the booked accommodation because of a serious fault, force majeure, damage, safety concerns, unexpected unavailability or another exceptional circumstance, the guest will be informed as soon as possible.
Medano4you will seek to offer alternative accommodation with similar or superior characteristics and capacity, subject to availability.
If the alternative accommodation has a lower price, the relevant amount may be adjusted.
If the guest does not accept a reasonable alternative or no suitable property is available, the amounts paid for services that cannot be provided will be refunded.
That refund will constitute Medano4you’s maximum liability in relation to the part of the stay that cannot be provided, unless applicable law states otherwise.
10. Force Majeure
Medano4you is not responsible for cancellations, delays or changes caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, fires, official restrictions, conflicts, strikes, widespread utility interruptions or public health emergencies.
In such cases, each situation will be assessed according to applicable law, availability and the services that have already been provided.
11. Bookings Made Through External Platforms
Bookings made through Airbnb, Booking.com or other platforms are governed by the cancellation policy selected and published on that platform.
Any cancellation, modification or refund request must be managed through the same platform on which the booking was made.
Medano4you cannot unilaterally modify the conditions or procedures established by those platforms.
12. Refunds
Where a refund is due, it will normally be made using the same payment method used for the booking.
The time required for the funds to appear will depend on the bank, payment provider or booking platform.
Bank charges, currency conversion costs or intermediary fees not charged directly by Medano4you are not the responsibility of Medano4you.
