Terms and Conditions
Medano4you was established to provide our guests with much more than accommodation: we provide holiday homes.
We aim to offer personalised assistance, keep our guests properly informed and provide friendly and professional support throughout every stay.
Booking a Holiday Home
A booking will only be considered confirmed once Medano4you has received the applicable advance payment and the guest has received the confirmation email.
In the event of cancellation, the conditions established in our Cancellation Policy will apply.
Guests under the age of 21 may not make a booking unless they have requested prior authorisation and received Medano4you’s express acceptance.
If Medano4you discovers that a booking has been made by a person under 21 without prior authorisation, it may cancel the booking.
Promotional codes must be entered during the booking process. They cannot be applied once the booking has been confirmed.
Children’s Policy and Rates
Children’s policy:
Children of all ages are welcome.
Rates:
Children under 2 years of age stay free of charge.
Guests aged 3 and over are counted according to the conditions and price applicable to the booking.
Travel cots and highchairs are available free of charge, subject to availability.
Booking Confirmation
Once the advance payment has been received, Medano4you will send a confirmation email containing the booking details, the outstanding balance and the check-in instructions.
If you do not receive the confirmation email within 24 hours of booking, please contact Medano4you at customerservice@medano4you.com.
Arrivals and Departures
Guests must provide their estimated arrival time, preferably at least three days before arrival. Check-in instructions will be provided before the stay.
No refunds will be issued for delayed arrivals or early departures.
Keys will be handed over once all outstanding amounts have been paid, including the security deposit and additional services where applicable.
Standard check-in begins at 15:00. Arrivals from 19:00 are subject to a €30 late check-in fee.
Check-out must take place by 11:00.
Any request for late check-out is subject to availability and must be authorised in advance by Medano4you.
Please note: Unauthorised late check-outs may result in additional charges.
Luggage
Medano4you does not provide permanent luggage storage or lockers.
Where possible, guests may be permitted to leave their luggage temporarily at the office or accommodation, subject to prior confirmation. Luggage remains at the guest’s own risk.
Payments
Outstanding amounts and payment deadlines will be stated in the booking confirmation.
Medano4you does not accept cheques.
Payments must be made using the authorised methods shown during booking or through payment links provided by Medano4you.
Payment Security
Medano4you applies measures designed to protect the information provided by users.
Full bank card details are processed directly by the relevant payment provider or bank. Medano4you does not have access to the complete card number.
Security or Damage Deposit
This condition applies only to certain bookings.
Some accommodations may require a security deposit to cover possible damage, loss, breaches of the house rules or extraordinary costs.
The deposit will generally be returned within seven days after departure, provided the accommodation has been left in an appropriate condition.
Where damage must be reviewed, items replaced or additional costs calculated, the repayment period may be extended.
Amounts relating to damage, missing items, extraordinary cleaning or breaches may be deducted from the deposit.
Where the deposit is managed through a card pre-authorisation, the release of funds will also depend on the processing times of the card issuer.
Occupancy
The number of guests staying at the accommodation must match the confirmed booking.
The number of occupants may not be increased without informing Medano4you and receiving prior authorisation.
An increase in the number of guests may result in an additional charge.
A reduction in the number of guests after confirmation will not necessarily reduce the total price.
Pets are permitted only in accommodations that accept them and must always be declared and authorised in advance. Additional fees may apply.
Conduct in Residential Accommodation
Many of our accommodations are located in residential buildings or areas. Parties and events are strictly prohibited.
Guests must respect neighbours and avoid loud music, shouting or other disturbing noise, particularly after 22:00.
If there are complaints from neighbours, police intervention or serious breaches, Medano4you may require the immediate removal of all guests without refund.
The booking holder is responsible for their own conduct and that of every person included in the booking.
Violent, offensive, illegal or dangerous conduct may result in immediate termination of the stay and full or partial retention of the deposit.
Changes to Bookings
In the event of force majeure or unforeseen circumstances preventing Medano4you from providing the booked accommodation, the guest will be informed and Medano4you will seek to offer a suitable alternative of similar characteristics.
If the guest does not accept the proposed alternative, they may cancel and receive a refund for the services that cannot be provided.
Extensions of the stay or increases in occupancy are subject to availability and the applicable price.
A reduction in nights or guests after confirmation will not automatically result in a reduction of the total price.
Damage, Deterioration and Lost Items
Guests are responsible for the condition of the accommodation during their stay and for any damage, deterioration or loss they cause.
This responsibility includes furniture, appliances, keys, remote controls, linen and any other item belonging to the accommodation.
Repair or replacement costs may be deducted from the deposit. If the deposit is insufficient, the guest must pay the difference.
Where no deposit has been requested, the guest remains responsible for all damage caused.
Guests must immediately inform Medano4you of any damage, breakage or missing item.
Medano4you is not responsible for indirect damage arising from utility interruptions, theft, fire, accidents or circumstances beyond its reasonable control, unless liability is imposed by law.
Cleaning
The accommodation must be returned in a reasonable state of order and cleanliness, taking normal use during the stay into account.
Medano4you may document the condition of the accommodation with photographs after departure.
Where the condition of the accommodation requires extraordinary cleaning or laundry, the additional costs may be charged to the guest or deducted from the deposit.
Additional cleaning services may be requested, subject to availability and an additional charge, by contacting customerservice@medano4you.com.
Problems on Arrival or During the Stay
Any problem involving cleaning, maintenance, equipment or the operation of the accommodation must be reported as soon as possible and preferably within 24 hours of arrival.
Issues may be reported to customerservice@medano4you.com or through the contact number provided for the stay.
Medano4you will seek to resolve the issue within a reasonable period.
Where a significant problem cannot be resolved, alternative accommodation with similar characteristics may be offered, subject to availability.
Compensation will not be granted for issues that were not reported during the stay and for which Medano4you was not given a reasonable opportunity to act.
Guest Reviews
Guest feedback is important to us and helps us improve our services.
By submitting a review, the guest authorises Medano4you to publish all or part of it for the purpose of informing future customers.
Medano4you may moderate, translate, adapt or remove content that is offensive, false, illegal or infringes the rights of third parties.
Reviews may be shared with platforms or partners involved in marketing the accommodation.
Consumer Guarantees and Rights
The services offered are subject to applicable Spanish consumer protection legislation, including Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007 and its subsequent amendments.
Conformity of Services
Unless proven otherwise, services will be considered compliant with the booking where they meet the conditions and characteristics communicated to the guest.
- They correspond to the description provided by Medano4you.
- They are suitable for any particular use requested by the guest, where that use was communicated and accepted in advance.
- They provide the quality and performance that may reasonably be expected from a service of this nature.
There will be no lack of conformity where the problem results from the guest’s actions, negligence, misuse or incorrect information.
Medano4you will not be responsible for circumstances that were known and accepted by the guest before the booking was confirmed.
Complaints
Medano4you aims to provide a comfortable stay and address reported incidents as quickly as reasonably possible.
Breakdowns and problems must be reported in writing to the email address or telephone number provided so that Medano4you has an opportunity to intervene.
In cases of force majeure, serious water damage, fire or another event making the accommodation uninhabitable, Medano4you may offer similar alternative accommodation.
If no suitable alternative can be provided, the amount corresponding to the unavailable part of the stay will be refunded.
Dispute Resolution
The parties will seek to resolve in good faith any disagreement relating to the booking or the provision of services.
Consumers may use the complaint and alternative dispute-resolution mechanisms available under applicable legislation.
Where relevant, consumers may consult the official European Union information regarding consumer dispute resolution.
Force Majeure
Neither party will be liable for a failure caused by unforeseeable or unavoidable events beyond its reasonable control.
Affected obligations may be suspended or delayed for as long as those circumstances continue.
General Conditions of the Offer
All bookings and services contracted with Medano4you are subject to these general conditions and to the specific conditions included in the booking confirmation.
Any amendment must be expressly agreed in writing.
Where a conflict exists, the particular conditions expressly accepted for a booking will prevail over these general conditions.
Medano4you may update information, characteristics or service conditions where necessary, while respecting confirmed bookings and applicable legislation.
